Coffee - Eat this up, you big fairy..

''West Ham manager David Moyes has admitted that midfielder Tomas Soucek is currently not at his best after his sides gut-wrenching defeat against Premier League newcomers Brentford.

Post-match, manager Moyes opened up about the tall midfielder's underwhelming form that has inadvertently seen partner Declan Rice flourish at the expense of the 26-year-old, who has so far failed to hit the heights of last season.

He admitted: "Tomas has not quite got on the end of things as well and things have not fallen for him.

"I think he is fighting for a wee bit of his best form. Is it to do with Declan getting forward a but more? Well I am hoping the two of them, can get goals and gives us two goalscoring midfield players but I think Tomas has struggled a wee bit."

Soucek is still doing a great job defensively and his work rate remains high although he is a tad below where he was last season. Like others, who have played a lot of games and not had the summer off due to the Euros, ( Shaw, Maguire, Kane) he looks like he needs a good rest. He is now being marked far more tightly too due to his goal scoring exploits last season. That was inevitable and have taken the "shine" off his performances. Despite all this, he is still one of the first on the team sheet as his effort and defensive abilities, closing and work off the ball are invaluable.

We do really need to see if this Kral ( Sideshow Bob) can help out though. I suspect we may see him more after Xmas.

Would like to see a line up that's as strong as possible.. Kids can wait till the next game.

Winning the group is the most important thing at the moment, and winning it today allows us to rest the team and guarantees a couple of match days off, no brainer for me

It would be a huge win tonight as we would then ensure we finish top of the group and that would mean us not playing our last-16 match until March - which would be so beneficial.

Some fringe players could gain great experience in the final group game at home to Zagreb, we could focus on the Carabao cup where we have a great chance of silverware and we could hopefully continue what we’ve done in the league so far because that 4th spot is definitely up for grabs.

Add to all that a couple of additions in the January transfer window and we could be in a very good place. Step one is tonight though.

Anyone know a decent ruin bar in Budapest showing the game?

Soucek did go through a run of poor form for a little while, but he's been fine the last handful of games. The only thing that's been different is that he's been wasteful in front of goal. Maybe like Fornals last season, he's been choking with the goal in front of him.

That said, I'd like to see KRAL today.

Agree re Kral, unless he looks fucking atrocious in training, seems silly not blooding him a bit in these games.

Would have preferred to see Kral over Noble - and Arthur at left back is a worry - but more or less the team I would have gone with. COYI

Was hoping to see Krall in that starting lineup.
Not bad but don't fancy Arthur at LB

I'll be delighted to be proven wrong, but I think that line up is a mistake, and we are underestimating the opposition.

IMO we should have gone all in on this one to put the Zagreb game out of the picture as far as needing anything from it.

So is Noble getting in the way?

The Kral thing is baffling, I thought he had a really good game against Man Utd and nothing since.

I would rather see him than Noble to be fair.

Ropey old lineup that. Might be good enough to get the win. Wont be easy though.

Literally could only more explicitly call Kral a useless liability by painting it on the side of the London Stadium.

Even Masuaku in defence is more trusted!

Likewise, would have preferred Kral to Noble, but with no Rice I suppose he's in there for his leadership. I just hope we get the Noble who played so well against City rather than the one who looked out of his depth in Genk.
